Bike Love Abounds at Love on Wheels!

Lovelorn lovebirds each quiz three possible dates (hidden from their view) and choose one to ride off with, on a date provided by one of our fine sponsors.

Meanwhile, phone numbers, emails, and bike stats are exchanged all over Rickshaw Stop by single cyclists while those not-so-single cyclists cheer on their single friends and win sweet date-y raffle prizes from our awesome sponsors and get their photos taken in the rickshaw photobooth, all to the tunes of DJ Laron (Chillin Productions) and DJ Jamie Jams (Debaser).

How do you roll? Boy-Boy? Girl-Girl? Girl-Boy? Boy-Girl? We've got a ride for you. Come on down!

Just like on TV: Real-life bike bachelors and bachelorettes quizzed a blind panel to find someone to take on a date, courtesy of our fabulous sponsors.

Are cyclists better lovers?

Cupid

Clearly, yes! Cycling women are known to be low-maintenance, more independent, and more fun-loving than women who wear makeup to the gym.

For men, cycling seems to be a natural Viagra. An Italian study found that bicycling for transportation, frequently prescribed in Europe to strengthen the cardiovascular system in heart failure patients, also improved sexual performance. Dr. Romualdo Belardinelli, director of the Lancisi Heart Institute in Ancona, Italy, found that participants' blood flow and ability to use oxygen improved as a result of the simple daily exercise. Belardinelli feels the results of aerobic exercise like bicycling are comparable to those of Viagra, because both widen blood vessels.

What about the perception that too much bike riding could cause impotence? Health experts agree that the tremendous cardiovascular fitness conveyed by cycling will usually outweigh any minor impacts that might occur from ordinary riding. Sexual performance becomes noticeably improved in most cases. Men can experience stronger "thrusting muscles," a heightened sex drive, reduced stress, and longer endurance - hurrah! - from cycling regularly.
