Getting to America’s Cup by Bike
Bike to the races at Pier 27! The City will be placing a separated bicycle facility along northbound of The Embarcadero between Washington Street and Pier 23 between Sunday, September 8th and Sunday, September 15th. There is also a temporary bikeway on Van Ness Avenue near Aquatic Park to help guide racegoers through the crowds.
The San Francisco America's Cup Organizing Committee, in partnership with the City and the ONESF: Celebrate the Cup campaign, are proud to support the SF Bicycle Coalition in the delivery of free bike valet parking at the America's Cup. The America’s Cup races are coming to San Francisco. In 2013 there will be events from July through September culminating in the America’s Cup Match (Finals) from September 7-21, 2013.
The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition will provide free valet bike parking for America’s Cup events beginning Thursday, July 4, and continuing throughout the summer for a total of 30 events. Our valet stations will be set up on Pier 23 and the Marina Green. PLEASE NOTE:The valet location formerly at Pier 31 is now at Pier 23. Valet will be open from 10AM to 7PM on the following days:

Bicycling is a fun and easy way to get to America’s Cup viewing spots!
Bicycling will be one of the quickest and most fun ways to get to the America’s Cup viewing locations. You can make a day of it and explore more of the city by bike as well! San Francisco has added over 20 miles of new bike lanes since 2010 and bicycling is up by 71% in the city.

Parkwide is the official bicycle rental concession for the San Francisco Parks Department. They have several locations along the northern waterfront.
