LAST CHANCE TO VOTE IN BOARD ELECTIONS TODAY
If you haven't voted yet in the SFBC Board elections, please do so today by 5pm, when voting ends. See http://www.sfbike.org/board_election, and see how quick and easy our online voting system is (thanks to digipop design). Why, you might ask, should you vote if there are the same number of candidates as open seats? Because your vote does matter in our member-driven organization, where elections require member participation. Please vote today by 5pm.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT--FINAL 2005 VOLUNTEER NIGHT
Bid farewell to 2005 at the last bi-weekly volunteer night for the year on Wednesday, Dec. 14th. Meet your fellow commuters, snack on tasty treats & give a little something back to the SFBC by helping us keep our organization running smooth. It is a great way to spend a winter Wednesday night! Bring a friend. The more the merrier. Begins at 5pm at the SFBC HQ. 995 Market Street (@ 6th St.) Bring your bike up.
WINTERFEST GOODIES AND SALES
Won stuff? Pick up your goodies at the SFBC HQ (995 Market St--at 6th St 15th floor). Please have all items picked up and paid for no later than Thursday, 12/15 by 5pm. Questions? Email or call Jodie at 431-BIKE x305 firstname.lastname@example.org

PAINLESS YEAR END CONTRIBUTIONS! DOES YOUR COMPANY MATCH DONATIONS?
Did you know that many employeers have a matching gift program that double the tax-deductible donations made by their employees? It is a warm and painless way to increase your contributions to the SFBC! Ask your HR person about your company's matching gift program, and double your giving power! Matching gifts should be made to SFBC Education Fund, our safety education fund.
NEW BIKE RACKS AT BART STATIONS
Check out the new bike racks inside the Glen Park & Balboa Park BART stations. Similar to the racks at the 16th St., 24th St., and Civic Center stations, this new bike parking is located inside the paid area of the station and is within view of a station attendant. Thanks to BART for hearing bicyclists' requests for more secure station bike parking.
VOLUNTEER DESIGNER NEEDED
We're gearing up for another year of the popular, free Bike Ed classes with trainings being scheduled throughout the city. We'd love a designer's help in making a flyer to help advertise these classes. If you an help out during the next 3 weeks, contact Leah at email@example.com. And stay tuned for announcement of the new Bike Ed schedule in January.
SFBC OFFICES CLOSED FOR HOLIDAYS
Even the SFBC office elves need a little rest during the holidays! We'll be closing the SFBC offices during the week between Christmas and New Years (the week of December 26th), and back open for all your biking business on Tuesday, January 3rd. Happy Holidays!
