All artwork must be postmarked by Friday, January 21st to the address listed in our contest guidelines.
Another Link for Better Biking on Sloat Boulevard
The state transportation agency, Caltrans, heeded the call for improvements to pedestrian safety from Supervisor Carmen Chu for part of Sloat Boulevard (a.k.a. CA Hwy 35). Just last week, Caltrans put the wide street on a 'road diet' going from three travel lanes to two and installing a bike lane, helping to calm traffic and improve safety for everyone.

Climate Ride Meet and Greet Feb. 1st
Last fall, cyclists began their trek deep in the redwoods near Eureka, California and made their way down the coast to San Francisco for Climate Ride, a fully-supported five day charity ride to support bike advocacy, sustainable solutions, and environmental causes. The SF Bicycle Coalition was honored to be chosen as one of the beneficiary organizations of the rider's fundraising, and participants raised over $30,000 for the SF Bicycle Coalition alone!
