So, the City is working with business owners from around the city to install bike parking corrals, free of charge.

On-street bike parking corrals provide up to 12 places for your customers to safely and conveniently lock their bikes right in front of your business. The City has installed nine corrals along these commercial corridors: Valencia Street, 14th Street (at Guerrero), Howard Street (at Eighth) South park and Hayes Valley. These well-used corrals have been benefiting the local businesses by giving customers a central place to park their bicycle, freeing up sidewalks and encouraging the huge number of people on bikes to stop and shop.
