Freedom From Training Wheels
SF Bicycle Coalition Family Biking Series Part 3

Practice Training: On-Road with Your Children
SF Bicycle Coalition Family Biking Series Part 4
You love to bike and so do your children, and want to go beyond the playground or blacktop area. How can you work together to teach them the skills to safely and skillfully complex traffic situations? We can get your family started down the road to safe and skillful biking to school or beyond. Our instructors will teach you and your children how to prepare, including practice on a car-free space and on regular city streets with biking facilities. Parents with children of all ages and children riding independently are welcome. All people under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring your own bikes and helmets. This is a great class for Cub Scouts to earn their Biking Badge. Note: If your child is not yet riding on their own go to our Freedom From Training Wheels class listed above.
All of our classes are held at locations that are wheelchair accessible. To request real time captioning, a sign language interpreter or other accommodations for a disability, please contact Eric Tuvel at firstname.lastname@example.org
