1) Expand and improve the Citywide Bike Network by
- Expediting the Bike Plan EIR;
- Building community and political support for the Bike Network;
- Improving the existing Network through better City maintenance;
- Reforming the City's process for analyzing bicycle and pedestrian projects for faster and more equitable actions

- Help win publication of Draft Bike Plan EIR by September '08;
- Win repaving of XX worst bike routes and prioritization of bike routes in repaving schedule and faster response to problems reported on bike routes;
- Win Planning Commission approval of better environmental review standards of bike and ped projects

| 2) Establish new bike parking at colleges, schools, places of employment and other key locations |
Help win 200 new bike parking spots at these locations (FYI: goal over 5 years is 1,000) |
| 3) Increase and diversify education of drivers and bicyclists |
Achieve driver education of frequent drivers of taxicabs, Muni buses, carshare vehicles. And expand the Bike Ed class, while adding multilingual classes and more specialized classes for both younger and older audiences |
| 4) Increase membership to 10,000 |
Achieve 10,000 membership (FYI: At 9,500 as of 8/08)
