Going Green: San Francisco and the Green Lane ProjectSan Francisco’s reputation as a great city for bicycling is growing. Last year, our city was chosen by Bikes Belong as one of only six cities for the illustrious Green Lane Project—a national program to build world-class bikeways in leading bicycling cities.
Join us for an inspiring conversation with Martha Roskowski, Director of the Green Lane Project, about the future of San Francisco streets, and how San Francisco compares to other leading cities.
This panel discussion will be moderated by Carrie Byles, a new member of the SF Bicycle Coalition Board of Directors and Director of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, a world-renowned architecture firm. Joel Ramos, SF Municipal Transportation Agency Board Member, and Leah Shahum, Executive Director of the SF Bicycle Coalition will be on the panel to provide the up to the minute news on biking projects in San Francisco and how the SF Bicycle Coalition's work advocating to transform city streets will be boosted as a result of the Green Lane Project.
