Enjoy an easy and flat bike ride along the historic Alameda Creek bicycle trail. We'll look for wildlife and explore the SF Bay tidal flats, weather permitting. A perfect ride for families and beginning bicyclists. Bring layers, water, snacks and helmet. Co-sponsored by the SFBC and Greenbelt Alliance.

Start at the skating area in Golden Gate Park, the site of a former road converted to the joyous use by skaters, and then pedal to various locations around San Francisco to celebrate environmental victories. Yes, it could have been worse! The ride ends at the Civic Center Earth Day Celebration. About 10 miles. Social Pace.

We will ride up Page Mill Road to Arastradero Preserve. Depending on the rain season, we will either be treated to wildflowers or the ride will be cancelled due to wet, sticky, clay soils. Approximately 12 miles, with 250-foot climb.
