SFBC VOLUNTEER NIGHT

SF BICYCLE NETWORK TOUR
Sat., Dec. 2. (Rain date: Sun. Dec. 3) | 10 am
Golden Gate Park, JFK Dr. & 6th Ave., Skating Area
We'll tour the best of the present and future bike network, including the city's first street converted to a bicycle path, and its next! Everyone's invited to join the Director of the Bike Coalition and representatives of the most progressive companies in the bicycle industry on this tour on the weekend of the big bicycle festival!

AUTO-FREE MT. BIKE RIDE
Sat., Dec. 2 | 10 am - 3 pm
Fremont BART station
Explore Alameda Creek and the Coyote Hills. This 25-mile, medium-paced, beginner ride will follow the bay trail along the Coyote hills and the Niles Creek trail. Sponsored by the Bicycle Trails Council of the East Bay.

CYCLISTS' WINTER FESTIVAL AND AUCTION

Come be appreciated at our annual event to appreciate everything the members of the SFBC do to make us the funnest and perhaps the most effective bicycle advocacy organization in the world. Everything our party is famous for will still be there in abundance: delicious food, beer, dance music, auction items, wonderful people. This year, there's even more: five live bands, a BMX stunt show, carnival games, exciting new venue, door prizes. It's all free for members. Bring your friends and have them join at the door, still for a low $20. AUTO-FREE MT. BIKE RIDE
Sat., Dec. 9 | 11:40 am - 6 pm
Larkspur Ferry Terminal (10:40am Golden Gate Ferry from SF Ferry Bldg.) This ride over Mount Tamalpais goes through Corte Madera Creek, Rock Springs, Lagunitas, Muir Beach, Tennessee and Rodeo Valleys. This is a winter-friendly ride consisting of a 1-mile hike, 3 miles on single track, 16 miles on dirt roads, 4 miles on paved trail and 14 miles on paved roads. The pace of ride is fast and skill level advanced. The moon will almost be full, but bring a light!

MISSION BAY TOUR: THEN & NOW

Ride along the SF Bay Trail and rediscover early SF history, explore hidden parks, wildlife habitats, and proposed greenways, such as the Mission Creek pathway, and help shape the future of the eastern SF waterfront on a tour with environmentalist and historian David Schmidt, while riding almost exclusively on the wonderfully expanded SF Bike Network. It's a triple treat!
