Look for this symbol on 60 buses and 45 transit shelters during the month of June, as the SFBC and the Department of Parking and Traffic each launch separate but coordinated pro-bicycle public relations campaigns. It's the biggest professional media campaign we've ever done.
The first part hits the streets in June to highlight the problem of road rage and misunderstanding about cyclists' and motorists' rights and responsibilities. The complete campaign promotes greater respect for bicyclists and encourages more people to try bicycling.
You can do your part by getting your very own “Coexist” bumper sticker and putting it on whatever moves you. Call 431-BIKE or visit www.sfbike.org.
