Excelsior Streets Ride

Saturday, May 26, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Want to help build out the bike connections in the Excelsior? Join us on this ride for SF Bicycle Coalition members, where we’re looking to hear from our members how you get around the neighborhood by bike and key destinations where we need better bike connections. On this bike ride led by our community organizer Charles Deffarges, we’ll take a look at the streets best suited for bicycle improvements and current efforts underway.

As a part of their larger Excelsior Neighborhood Traffic Calming Project, the SF Municipal Transportation Agency will build off our existing efforts on the main bicycle routes to provide safe connections on neighborhood streets. Traffic calming measures such as traffic diverters, speed humps, stop signs and new crosswalks are all on the table. Learn more here.
