Introduction to Foundation Training*

Join Rapha on June 14 at 6:00 pm for an Introduction to Foundation Training with instructor Tom Hodge.

Foundation Training is based on a series of breathing exercises, poses and movements that focus on activating your posterior muscle chain and integrating the muscular chains of the body. These exercises follow a progression that allow your body to work properly, taking the pressure of supporting the body off of the joints and placing it on the muscles. It will target functional core strength and movement patterns that will help you feel stronger on the bike and in every day life.

Functional Training is a simple solution that gives you the means to change the way you move and correct the imbalances caused by our modern habits.

Tom has a B.S. in Kinesiology, has competed in over 300 multi-sport events, was a two-time member of the Team USA Triathlon Team, competed in 23 Ironman Competitions and was a six-time Ironman World Champion Competitor.

Please bring a yoga mat.
