Meander To Larkspur*

Saturday, May 12, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 5:30 pm

$22.75

Please get your bike tuned up and bring it out to the Sausalito dock of the SF Ferry Building’s Golden Gate Ferry Terminal and join us on our Annual May Ride to Larkspur. This year we have adopted a shorter two ferry bike ride which is reflected in the cost. We intend to change the route to include the Golden Gate Bridge in the future.

We will meet with our bikes on Saturday, May 12 at the San Francisco Ferry Building at 10:00 am. From there we will take the 10:40 am ferry to Sausalito (arrives in Sausalito at 11:10am). The trip from the ferry building to Sausalito is $12.

The Sausalito Ferry schedule can be found here.

We will leisurely make our way from the Sausalito Ferry terminal to a picnic spot in Mill Valley, meander past Corte Madera Creek and board the Larkspur Ferry which will return us to the SF Ferry Building. The picnic is bring your own (sharing and collaboration encouraged). Pace will be leisurely, with no one left behind. As a group we like to wear glamorous and fashionable attire but no dress code is enforced. Wear what makes you comfortable enough to ride.

In total the ride will not be more than 10 miles with two small hills. We will return from Larkspur to San Francisco on the 4:45 pm ferry (arrives in San Francisco at 5:35 pm).

The Larkspur Ferry schedule can be found here.

The ferry from Larkspur to San Francisco is $11.50. The total cost of the ride ($22.75) is reflective of the costs of the two ferries. Riders will be responsible for paying for the ferry rides on their own.

You can review more info about fares here.
