Sketching Challenge: San Francisco on Bikes

June 7 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

| Free

Bring your pencils, bring your sketch books and bring your bike! Join the Cartoon Art Museum in partnership with the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition for an afternoon of sketching fun around the theme of San Francisco on Bikes. As part of the Yerba Buena Art Walk, we will have local artists drawing sketches for visitors, followed by a public sketch-a-thon challenge. There will be a limited number of drawing materials available, but feel free to bring your own. Our amazing models, replete with their best bicycling gear, will be guided through static pose challenges and even act out a storyboard guided by our moderator. We also have fantastic CAM and SFBC prizes to be won at each of the drawing challenges.

New to sketching or didn’t bring your sketchbook? No problem! Just bring your creativity and we’ll take care of the rest. Sketching expert? Come meet other professional artists, learn new tricks and most importantly have fun!

Agenda:

2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Local artist sketch-a-thon
