Caltrain Board of Directors Meeting*

The Joint Powers Board, also known as Caltrain’s Board of Directors, will be holding their regular monthly meeting. The 9-person JPB consists of three officials representing each of the three counties: San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara. Caltrain recently approved a purchase to add 16 rail cars to their fleet, and we need you to attend this meeting to tell the Caltrain Board to retrofit these rail cars to be bike cars. Since March 2014, the City of San Francisco has been working with the community to develop a streetscape design for Ocean Avenue between Manor Drive and San Jose Avenue. On July 9, 2014 the final conceptual design was presented for Ocean Avenue between Manor Drive and Phelan Avenue. On October 8, 2014, the fourth workshop will be held.
