Adventure Cycling, the nationwide non-profit whose mission is to get more people traveling by bike, proudly announce their new weeklong California Gold Rush to the Bay bike tours, being offered in both May and June. These unique tours start in Folsom, east of Sacramento, and travel along of mix of paved trails and low traffic roads to Davis, Fairfield, Vallejo, San Francisco, Palo Alto, and San Jose. Gals with Gears is a member-led group of the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition. The Gals lead monthly scenic rides geared towards women aged 50-plus-years young, although all riders are welcome. This time the Gals will ride a loop around the Berkeley and Emeryville marinas along the Bay Trail. Join the Justice & Diversity Center (JDC) this summer for their annual Bike-A-Thon/Walk-A-Thon! Together, we can pedal, run and, walk in support of pro bono legal services programs for low-income residents. For over 40 years, JDC has been offering an array of programs which focus on increasing access to justice or improving diversity in the legal field. Last year, JDC staff and more than 2,000 volunteers provided over 9,000 clients with legal services in nearly every area of civil law.…Find out more »
