Box Dog Bikes Summer Camp – Point Pinole Regional Shoreline*

Box Dog Bikes hosts sub 24 hours camping trips each summer. This is the first in a series of camp trips that Box Dog will be hosting this summer. Camping will take place at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline and a group ride will be lead to the site. Food and beverage will be provided, and there is a suggested donation of $10. Bayview Bike Ride: Exploring a New Community at Hunters View*

In honor of Bike Month, SFHAC will host a ride down to Bayview to explore the new community at Hunters View. Built in 1956, the 256-unit public housing project provided workforce housing during World War II, but was never intended to be permanent. Over time, the development became virtually uninhabitable for the residents and in dire need of repair. This trip through San Francisco's lost sand dunes, ponds, creeks and coastline will focus on the city from the center southward, covering the Mission before heading to Heron's Head Park and then making our way northward along the bayshore.
