SF Safe Routes to School welcomes all students and families to the community starting point for walkers and rollers to school. See friends and neighbors at Excelsior Playground and enjoy a healthy start to your day. Participating Safe Routes schools are SF Community School, Cleveland Elementary, and Monroe Elementary. Join the Shared Schoolyard Project and Supervisor Mark Farrell at Longfellow Elementary School on Saturday, January 27, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm for an exciting kick-off event marking the grand re-opening of the schoolyard for public use on weekends. Schools and families throughout San Francisco will celebrate Bike and Roll to School the full week of April 16-20! Join thousands of youth and adults at 100 schools who will ride in "bike trains", roll with parents and teachers, and use their own pedal power to get to pre-school, elementary, middle and high school.
