In honor of Pride Month, the SF Bicycle Coalition is partnering with Strut to share with members of the LGBTQ community information and joy of biking in San Francisco!

Come learn the basics of biking in San Francisco at our Intro to Urban Bicycling Workshop. Our one-hour course covers bicycling for everyday riding in SF, the rules of the road, route planning and more. This course is a great introduction for people who are considering biking in the city or looking to brush up on urban biking skills.

Topics Covered:

  • Helmet fit
  • Preparing to Ride
  • Rules of the Road
  • Safety Skills & Tips
  • Route Planning
  • Locking

No bicycle is necessary for this class.

We warmly invite all members of the LGBTQ community, including allies, to participate in this class, led by Christopher White, the SF Bicycle Coalition’s Program Coordinator for Adult Education (and proud queer man!).
