Valet Bicycle Parking at The Commons Grand Opening & Public Celebration*

All are invited to the free opening celebration of The Commons—Headlands Center for the Arts new outdoor gathering space which includes commissioned artworks by Ball-Nogues Studio, Chris Kabel, and Nathan Lynch. This all-day festival will include a special site dedication by artist Dohee Lee (Artist in Residence 2012) and Congressman Jared Huffman, followed by a wide range of activities for all ages presented by Cause Collective, The Emotional Arcade, The 500 Capp Street Foundation, Studio for Urban Projects & Packard Jennings with the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition, NatureBridge, Bay Area Discovery Museum, and Playworks; exhibitions, installations, readings, and performances by Satellite Museum of Capitalism and Headlands’ Affiliate Artists & Graduate Fellows; music by JD Samson and Mary Lattimore; and food & beverages from Off the Grid, Fort Point Beer, Andytown Coffee Roasters, and more!

And why not add a beautiful bike ride to the day? Join the Studio for Urban Projects, Packard Jennings of  & Brian Wiedenmeier, Executive director the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition for the ride. RSVP here.
