The Supermarket Street Sweep is an annual bike race that benefits the SF-Marin Food Bank! For the past 10 years, hundreds of participants have zipped around the city to local supermarkets and brought back thousands of pounds of food to donate to this wonderful charity.

Join the Gals for an enjoyable, easy-going ride along Embarcadero in San Francisco over the GG Bridge and on to Tiburon Ferry Terminal!  The ride ends at the Tiburon Ferry Terminal.  We'll show you a route, provide tips for riding, and have a relaxing ride. Community and parent leaders  welcome students, families, school staff and the neighbors to celebrate the first anniversary of the Excelsior Walk & Roll Hub. Enjoy a hot beverage, time with friends and community fellowship before the walking buses and bike trains head out to Denman Middle School, SF Community School, Cleveland Elementary, and Monroe Elementary. Excelsior Playground is the meet-up point for walking & rolling families every Tuesday, with bike trains on the first Tuesday of every month.

The SF Bicycle Coalition leads a Bike & Roll to School "bike train" from Excelsior Playground Hub to nearby elementary schools. Join parents, teachers and students who gather with bikes and scooters (and helmets!). If you take the bus or drive to school, hop off MUNI at Madrid and Persia, or park the car and come join the fun. There are also "walking school buses" for walkers and strollers.
