May is National Bike Month, and San Francisco is celebrating two-wheeled travel all month long. Last Thursday, tens of thousands of Bay Area residents pedaled to the office for the 20th anniversary of Bike to Work Day. But the fun doesn’t have to stop just because Bike to Work Day is now in the rearview mirror. There are more than two weeks of events and adventures to be had.

Whether you’re an avid cyclist or new to biking, there’s at least one event or maybe a dozen to pique your interest. Are you an urban explorer? History buff? Foodie? New rider?
