San Francisco is starting to understand the value of biking for business. Retailers are attracting more customers on bike, downtown companies bring in more young, talented workers, and employers are seeing drops in their health care costs from more employees biking to work. From Bike Friendly Business Districts to business events, the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition is leading the way in growing the business case for biking.

Bicycle-Friendly Business Awards
Each year we recognize local businesses that go above and beyond to promote bicycling to work. Bicycle-Friendly Business nominations are submitted throughout the month of April by SF Bicycle Coalition members and the general public. Awards are presented by the SF Bicycle Coalition and the Mayor as part of the Bike to Work Day press conference at City Hall each May.
