Valet Bike Parking at the Giants
The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition is proud to offer free Valet Bicycle Parking at all Giants regular season home games. Pedal to the stadium, and our stellar valet staff will watch your bike for you, so you can sit back and enjoy the game. We are open two hours before and thirty minutes after each game. Valet is located on the south side of the ballpark by the water (on the PortWalk between the foul pole and the Health Center). Look for the double doors midway along the stadium wall under the bike parking sign.
Please note that per AT&T Park policy, we are not able to check bags of any kind.
FAQ on Hiring Us
Our Valet Bike Parking service helps keep your event tidy and organized, encourages more people to attend your event, and competent and professional staff will save you time and money.
Monitored bicycle parking is required for events requiring a street closure and with an anticipated number of participants greater than 2,000 (SF Administrative Code, Section 2.76). While we’re not the only bike parking solution, we pride ourselves on being the best one.
Gladly. Valet Bike Parking encourages more people to get to your event by bike, and we advertise all our valet events on our in our weekly Biker Bulletin, which is sent out to over 26,000 subscribers, as well as on our Chain of Events listing and on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Between all of these platforms we have an over 50k reach. When you offer bike valet you help attract more people to your event by giving them a secure place to park their bike.
Why turn your staff into bad guys when crowd issues require you to exclude bicycles? Adding bike parking allows them to be positive and friendly when directing cyclists to the parking corral. As a bonus, most people who would have locked to poles and fences will seek out the corral instead.
FAQ for Users
Just like a coat check, you sign a claim check and give us your bike. We give you the ticket stub. After the event, you return the stub and we give you your bike back.
We are hired by event organizers to provide secure Valet Bike Parking. It’s completely free to you to park your bike!
Yes. We’ve been operating Valet Bicycle Parking at events since 1994 and will keep a careful eye on your bike as long as it’s in our care. Just don’t lose your ticket!
For all Giants games, yes. Although the lot is secure and attended at all times and a lock is not needed at Valet, we strongly recommend you bring a u-lock anyway. We may be at capacity (and you might want to stop somewhere for a snack after the game).
Yes (helmets, locks and panniers only please). Because we can’t inventory your accessories, we can’t be responsible for them, but anything securely attached to your bike will be safe. Per AT&T Park policy, we DO NOT check bags of any kind.
You must retrieve your bike by closing time, which is typically 30 minutes after the end of an event. After that time, valet will close. For Giants games, we cannot be responsible for bikes left at AT&T Park after the close of valet and we urge you to be prompt in exiting the stadium. If you are unable to pick up your bike after an event, you must contact our office at (415) 431-2453 x315.
There’s a rush just as the anthem plays at the beginning of games. We work quickly and keep the line as short as possible, though you may have to wait a little longer getting your bike back out.
Yes. We’ll park skates, strollers and other human-powered people movers, though bicycles take priority.
Bicycling isn’t for locals only. Quite a few of our clients ride from Marin and the Peninsula. Others use BART, ferries or CalTrain to get to San Francisco, then ride to the game. For details of how to take public transit to the game, check out the official Giants page’s suggestions.
