Bike to Work Day Volunteers! Many thanks to the nearly 300 SF Bicycle Coalition Member-Volunteers for making San Francisco's largest bike event of the year such a success! On May 9th, volunteers helped out in the morning, brightening commutes with free coffee, and in the afternoon, cheering folks on as they bike home.
Volunteers cheered on people riding bikes around San Francisco at 26 official Energizer Stations! Each station provided free donated snacks and beverages, as well as convenient reusable tote bags for future commutes filled with goodies! Check out the 2013 Energizer Stations:

These rides were led by experienced bicycle riders and had more riders than ever before!
Bike to Work Day WorkshopsDuring April and May 2013, the SF Bicycle Coalition led 12 How to Bike Anywhere workshops across the City. This concise 60 minute workshop addressed many of the concerns new riders have about commuting in San Francisco including: choosing a route, what to wear and other common concerns.
