Turn your junk into bike lanes

"The things I donate will get a good new home and a second life, which is the best kind of recycling there is. Also, I love the fact that I'm contributing to a good cause without having to give cash."

Anna Zacher, SFBC Member

Drop your unwanted treasures off at Community Thrift (623 Valencia Street @ Sycamore Alley) and allocate your goods to the SFBC (#181). They will sell your goods and give a hearty portion of the sales to the SFBC. This is the easiest and quickest way to turn your unwanted goods into bike improvements!

Your donations in 2009 of furniture, books, clothes, housewares, appliances, music, bikes, etc. helped raise over $7,300 for the SFBC! With 60% of the SF Bicycle Coalition's income coming straight from you, our committed members, every dollar counts to bolster our advocacy success. Thanks for your participation.

Community Thrift donating hours: 10am-5pm 7 days a week.
