Volunteer!Improve your ride and your city when you volunteer with the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available throughout the year, during the day, in the evening, on weekdays and weekends.
While some opportunities are only open to current SF Bicycle Coalition members, many opportunities are open to all, including Bike Builds, Phone Bank, Valet Bike Parking and Volunteer Night. If you're not a current member and would like to trade your volunteer hours for a year's membership, check out our Barter Membership program. Whether you'd like to volunteer once a week, once a month or once a year, we'd love to have your help. Below are ways you can help keep our work to improve San Francisco streets rolling and fun events where you can volunteer!

Upcoming & Ongoing Projects:
Bicycle Ambassadors at Service Stations
Join the SF Bicycle Coalition in reaching out to city cyclists--out on the streets and at events! Meet fellow cyclists, and discuss how they can be a part of our work. Outreach is super fun and one of the most important ways you can help advance the bike projects that matter to you! SF Bicycle Coalition members can exercise your activist muscle by coming to our bi-monthly Bicycle Ambassador trainings at our office (contact Margaret to sign up for the next training). View our upcoming Service Stations and sign up to help out here.

Behind the scenes, volunteers keep our work rolling smoothly making membership kits, helping out with mailings, and uplifting our spirits!
