The Arthritis Bike Classic (ABC) – Marin presented by AbbVie is a spectacular, fully-supported one-day cycling adventure. Marin County is well known for its natural beauty, incredible organic foods, and breath-taking views of San Francisco and the California coast. Participants can choose from 3 scenic routes. Choose the route that will get you back to the College of Marin by early afternoon. This will allow you time to enjoy the post-ride celebration, which peaks early to mid-afternoon.Find out more »
AIDS Walk San Francisco is a 10k fundraising walk starting and ending in Golden Gate Park. This event benefits Project Inform, Ward 86 at San Francisco General Hospital, Project Open Hand and HIV/AIDS programs and services throughout the Bay Area. The California Coast Classic is the Arthritis Foundation's leading source of funding for it's extensive research and advocacy for arthritis, which cause for disability for 1 in 5 adults and over 300,000 children. The goal is to raise $1.2 million this year! The ride itself is a fully-supported bike tour of California’s iconic Highway One, taking place September 24 through October 1. Join the SF Bicycle Coalition's state-level partner, the California Bicycle Coalition, on their fundraising ride: the California Dream Ride.
